Yanka a slow fashion brand

nature

Yanka is a brand that fits as much as possible into a slow fashion approach.

How? By working with artisans or local partners, in workshops on a human scale. Admittedly the cost is higher, but here we privilege the quality of the object and the respect for the work of the craftsman.

And the same goes for items collected on trips. These are high quality handcrafted pieces.

Illustrations:

All illustrations are drawn by Amanda Wild and printed in the Heraldie Impression workshop in Die, Drôme. Heraldie has been committed to an eco-responsible and Imprim'Vert® certified approach since 2014.

The choice of 300g paper and the skills of the printer give a high quality result.

Ceramics:

The porcelain cups and objects are turned by a ceramist in Die, Catherine de Sousa. Entirely hand-turned in traditional ways, they are all unique!

The drawing boards, which are then enameled on the porcelain, are printed in a workshop in Lyon.

T-shirts:

All T-shirts are durable and strong since they are made of a thick organic cotton material labeled OSC 100® and OEKO-TEX®.

The illustrations on T-shirts are printed in a workshop in Montélimar, Drôme.

Frames:

The wall decorations are made by Amanda Wild with good quality wooden frames, made to measure in a French workshop located in Oise.
