tibetan singing bowl

Yanka offers this set of 7 Tibetan singing bowls, imported from Nepal. These singing bowls are made of 7 metals, hammered in Nepal in traditional way.

In Nepal, holistic medicine is very present and these traditional Tibetan singing bowls are still made and assembled in the greatest respect of tradition. Shaped to output a therapeutic sound when played, the Tibetan 7 metal singing bowl deeply penetrates each cell of the body to re-harmonize it.

During the care, we use a set of 7 different bowls, harmonized and assembled by shamans whose 7 different and complementary sounds tie in 7 chakras. Thus, when the bowls sing, they aim to restore the good circulation of this energy between the chakras. These 7 metal singing bowls are ringed by striking them with a suitable mallet or by rubbing them with a wooden stick covered with felt.

This set of 7 Tibetan singing bowls was traditionally made with an alloy of 7 metals that tie in the Tibetan cosmogony, to the planets of the solar system: gold (the Sun), silver (the Moon), mercury ( Mercury), copper (Venus), iron (Mars), tin (Jupiter) and lead (Saturn).

This set of 7 singing bowls is sold with six different sticks. The diameter of the singing bowls is in decreasing sizes from 27 cm for the largest and 16.5 cm for the smallest. Each set of singing bowls being unique, the size of bowls change from set to set. Feel free to contact me for more details.
